'Skinscapes' and 'Bodyscapes'

I have created many artworks that feature, albeit it, in abstract form, the scars and mis-shapen limbs that are the result of cancer surgery. They may not be masterpieces but they have aided my recovery and acceptance of a body that no longer feels or looks like my own. Gone now are the striong muscles in an arm and leg when they have served me well all my life by giving me the physical strength I have always relied on. Gone now is the feeling of strength in my legs as numbness takes over from damaged nerves, sliced through in surgery to save my life.
